Welcome to the World, Felix

Felix was born on April 20, 2011 at 10:50AM. I was in labor for about 15 hours, and I pushed for 50 minutes. My husband and I were both in tears when we finally got to meet our little guy. We chose to name him Felix because it means "happy; lucky." He's the best thing that's ever happened to us.

Another year older...

It was my birthday yesterday (about an hour ago)...and I don't feel older. :) Hubby and I decided that we'll celebrate on Monday though; he's taking the day off, and we'll be heading up to LA to check out the street art exhibit. It'll be Felix's first art exhibit! Hubby had a bachelor party this weekend. I played in an annual kickball tournament with friends. It was my first time doing anything really physical since I had Felix. It was tough!!! I totally fell and ate it trying to run to first. I need to get myself back to the gym now! Felix came along to cheer mommy on; my sister came along to watch him while I played. Then I spent the rest of the day with my family. :)
